About Berserker

Berserker is a Windows desktop app that makes local AI simple. One installer, no command line, no technical background required. Built by Delta Automation, a South African software and automation engineering company, Berserker was created because running AI locally on Windows was needlessly complicated. The hardware — a modern NVIDIA GPU — is capable of running large language models, generating images, and creating video entirely offline. What was missing was a front door. Berserker is that front door.

The story

The idea for Berserker came from frustration. Running AI models locally on Windows meant following scattered tutorials, wrestling with Python environments, manually configuring CUDA, and hoping nothing broke when a dependency updated. It was a process designed for developers — not for the millions of people with capable NVIDIA GPUs sitting idle on their desks.

Delta Automation saw a gap. The hardware existed. The open-source models existed. What didn't exist was a simple, polished way to bring them together on Windows without touching a terminal.

So the team built Berserker — a single installer that sets up everything behind the scenes. WSL2, CUDA, llama.cpp, ComfyUI, a starter model — all configured automatically. The user opens the app, and local AI just works. Chat with a large language model. Generate images with Stable Diffusion, SDXL, or Flux. Create video with Wan 2.1. All offline. All private. All on hardware the user already owns.

Berserker isn't a cloud wrapper. It doesn't send your prompts anywhere. It doesn't require an account to download. It doesn't charge per generation. It's a desktop app that treats your GPU as the powerful tool it is — and gets out of the way.
