1. Overview

Berserker is a local AI application. By design, your data stays on your device. This policy explains what we collect, what we don't, and how we handle the limited information that does pass through our systems.

2. What we do NOT collect

• Your chat messages, prompts, or AI conversations
• Images or videos you generate
• The models you download or use
• Your browsing history or activity inside the app
• Any personally identifiable information from your use of the app's AI features

All AI processing happens locally on your machine. Nothing you generate is sent to our servers or any third party.

3. What we DO collect

Purchase and license information

When you purchase Berserker Pro or a model pack, your payment is processed by Polar (our payment provider). We receive:

• Your email address (for license key delivery)
• Your order ID and license key
• Your subscription status (active, cancelled, expired)

We do not receive or store your payment card details. Those are handled entirely by Polar.

License validation

When you activate or validate a license key, the app sends your license key and a device instance ID to the Polar license validation API. This is used solely to verify your subscription status. No other device information is transmitted.

Website analytics

Our website (getberserker.app) may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand visitor traffic (page views, referrers, country). No personal data or cross-site tracking is used. Individual visitors are not identified.

4. Data storage

License information (your license key, email, and activation date) is stored locally on your device in the app's data directory. We also store a copy of your order information in our order management system (Polar) for subscription and support purposes.

You may request deletion of your personal data (email and order records) by contacting us at privacy@getberserker.app. Note that deleting your data will also remove your license records — we recommend exporting your license key first.

7. Children

Berserker is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We will update this page if our data practices change. The "last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes.
